Hi everyone!

Wow, so I've been super busy lately... ahaha just kidding XDD!! omg it's so good to not actually mean that for once! So right now I'm just doing internship at a design studio and taking it easy. Man, it's so nice not to be in school (sort of). I used to be afraid of life and all "oh no! I don't want to start life, I want to stay in school forever D:!!" Well, I'm still afraid of life, but! Ever since the strike at my school during the past year (where I didn't have class for three months)... yeah, I can't wait to get out of here @_@ That's probably just the mentality of a tired student. I know in a few years I'll wish I was back in this part of my life. Whatever though, I don't know why the program I'm in is so intense.. (okay I do, they're training us for the real world theoretically, but) when I think about how many years I'm losing off my life from the stress, and how much I'm paying to put myself through it all... it's just a shame that you're encouraged/indirectly forced to take such a heavy course load.

So the internship is an interesting experience. I wake up, I go to work, I come home, eat dinner and BAM IT'S 9PM wtf D! Then I go to bed shortly after that. Then I realized.... THIS IS LIFE. Omg ahhh~ It makes you realize when people say "follow your heart, go into a career you'll enjoy~" Oh.. they actually mean it D: But people also say that just because you go to university for something, you're not stuck in it... At least the place where I'm interning at is really cool. It's a really small studio (three people), and they have such an awesome retro sci-fi theme. They're a really cool and laid back team too. They're pretty silly, but in an awesome way. OMG and they gave me toys!! So I love them. They had these little metal wind-up robot toys made up and they gave me one! It winds up and walks/rolls around in circles XD OH and they gave me this retro looking toy flashlight. When you turn it on it shines this cute space scene with aliens XD They're so cool. I know theres this really cool pen they have too, you know with the liquid part and there are floaty-things in it? The one they have is a cute doggy astronaut in a space ship, and when you flip the pen, he travels to and from a planet. They didn't give me that one... and I know "let's not be greedy, kc" but..... I waaant it :<< As for the actual internship work, there's not too too much for me to do. They don't make me do all the slave (production) work that I know my other friends are doing at their internships (well, unless I ask for work), so I'm glad they give me real work!

Sadly, this internship comes to an end in a few days. I start my next internship next week. It should be good, they're half illustration, half design... so hopefully they'll get me to draw (probably not, but I can hope)! I'm also taking a summer course at the moment. It's purely for fun (its a dancing course... but I can't dance OTL). I never intended to actually go through with it though, and I don't exactly have time for it either... and I'll have to write essays... needless to say, I might drop it. I haven't decided yet...

Another thing I haven't decided yet.. whether or not I should try for a table at Fan Expo.... Hmm I am really looking forward to one of the events there so far (omg Tom Paris is going to be there?! XDDD). I guess it'll depend more if my potential table mate chooses to go! I'm so afraid of not breaking even though... Man, if only these internships were paid T_T... I know I should go for fun and not worry about the money but... well.. between rent and non-paid internships... it's strange, I don't feel unemployed... but I guess I am OTL So about Fan Expo~ I'll make a journal post when I know for sure

Oh, and I desperately need an external hard drive... ugh. SO
